Kaleeda’s Name Origin and What the Logo Represents

The name Kaleeda is distinctive in its origin, and as the owner of Kaleeda, its name is derived from my full name:
Ka (Katie), Lee (Lee), and Da (Dargan).

What the Logo Represents

The logo represents change.

It is my belief that if a person practices what they want to be or become, automatically that which they don’t want to be will cease.
Who they are and who they want to be are both masters and cannot both live at the same time in them.

Matthew 6:24
“No man can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other; or else he will hold to the one and despise the other…”

The logo—both emblem and invitation—encourages individuals to choose:

Growth over stagnation
Faith over fear
Vision over limitation

As the community continues to flourish, Kaleeda’s legacy grows ever richer, woven together by stories of change, hope, and the unwavering belief that each person is called to a greater purpose.

In this light, every step forward becomes a testament to the enduring promise that, with resolve and belief, new possibilities await on the horizon.

Kaleeda’s Owner’s Birth

Reflecting on my birth, I realize that God’s divine protection was upon me while my body was being formed in my mother’s womb.

I also realize that the circumstances surrounding my mother’s pregnancy were challenging.
She already had four children, and her doctor advised against another pregnancy due to her ill health.

Nevertheless, she became pregnant, and it was recommended for her to have an abortion. An appointment was set in a different state. Upon arrival, she learned that the doctor had just passed away, and she continued with the pregnancy—resulting in my birth.

My mother went on to have three more children after me and shared that mine was the easiest of all eight births.
